Bill arrived in Las Vegas in 1963 when his family moved from Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and obtained his MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2000. At UNR, Bill was very active in student government having been the Vice-President of Activities and a student representative to the Nevada Board of Regents.
Bill spent three years in the United States Army as a Field Artillery officer following graduation from UNR. After completing his military obligation, he was recruited by the Fuels Marketing Division of Mobil Oil Corporation where he worked in numerous management positions and lived in: Tacoma, Washington; Concord, California; Fairfax, Virginia; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Orlando, Florida. Bill returned to Las Vegas in 1998 with Mobil Oil. In 2001 he was recruited by Jack in the Box where he oversaw the operations of 14 restaurants and achieved the Jack in the Box Circle of Excellence status. In 2006 he went to work for Loomis Armored Transport in Las Vegas where he managed the operations of the 2nd largest branch in the United States.
In 2008, Bill co-founded Maxx Promotions, a promotional products, custom screen printed shirts, embroidery, and logo design company (maxxpromotions.com) with his wife Pam. He has a 24 year-old son, Ryan, who recently started a roofing business in Tacoma, Washington, a 19 year-old daughter who is a freshman at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL, and two bonus-sons, Sean, age 31 who manages the warehouse for Chef Rubber in Las Vegas, and James, age 24, who is looking for a great job.
Bill’s hobbies include biking, hiking, stamp and coin colleting. He is also an avid photographer with his photos published on the front cover and inside the Las Vegas Food & Beverage Magazine. He is active in his community and serves as the President of his homeowner’s association and is an Ambassador for the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.
