I'm passionate about well-made 'little movies' (as opposed to short films). I'm making drama, comedy and doco in support of urban activism and environment but have a love for magical realism. I prefer irreverent and accessible films and suspect THE CHUNT will bring me some trouble. I run workshops in Sydney, Australia in writing for the screen. I'm constantly on the lookout for talent worthy of mentoring but also worry about a diminishing standard in 'little moviemaking' with the advent of low-cost and accessible equipment. I seriously envy a generation that has such technology. I also urge baby boomers to come to grips with DSLR cinema and to tell their stories. The core of film-making is storytelling and character development. I'm building an ensemble of performers I can work with and will be extensively in production in 2013.
