Writer/Director from the South West of England.
An early interest drew Ashley into the film making process. His first short film, Between the Lines, funded by the lottery heritage fund, opened to extremely positive press reviews at it's premiere in Devon. Since then it has been covered in national magazines and sold copies in the thousands resulting in a surge of donation towards the museum for which it was made. His other project 'Poppies' saw him win his first award for best film 2009.
He was then hired to direct several one minute short films for the 2012 Olympics, titled 'Artists Taking the Lead', promoting regional artistic talent from all over the UK for the Arts Council England.
Ashley also collaborates with Clayton Fussell under the banner 'Cottage Industry Films'.
