SHENG Xin is a Master of Science candidate in Journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. As a business reporting student, Sheng covers banking, real estate, employment and retail beats during her study at Medill. Sheng holds a B.A. degree in Drama, Film & TV Literature and Production and a Journalism Double Degree from Communication University of China in Beijing. Sheng used to study at City University of Hong Kong for a student exchange program. She was the first student journalist in the history of American Embassy in China and had internship experience at many prestigious media organizations including Associated Press,Xinhua News Agency and Shanghai Dragon TV. She loves movies, especially documentaries, and hopes to be a business reporter in the future. Sheng won The Southern Metropolis Daily News Scholarship in senior year at Communication University of China.
