She has also worked on numerous long term projects and multi media pieces in South Africa, India, Thailand, Tanzania, New York City and Hawaii. Her blog, "Apertures and Anecdotes" features a wide range of photographs (both hers and those of other photographers) and the stories behind them. Most recently, she was nominated for a Magnum Foundation emergency fund grant. "My goal is to create images that move and inform, that are beautiful and capture in a unique way this extraordinary and complex world we live in," she says.
