OFRA BLOCH (Director) is a psychoanalyst who lives and practices in New York City. She earned her Masters degree in social work from Columbia University, and attended the International Trauma Studies Program at NYU. She received her psychoanalytic training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. VIVIENNE’S SONGBOOK (2004), which is about transgenerational transference of Holocaust trauma, was her first film. In 2012, Ofra completed her second film, BLACK MILK, which focused on the experience of a child survivor of the Holocaust and his attempt to process traumatic experiences through his art.
