(Miami artist Cheno Lyfe “Wont Stop” till the King is on top)
In an urban market where a criminal rap sheet, drug use, and street life is used as a form of creditability, and in many cases, a route to fame and money, Cheno Lyfe (Christ Hearted Evangelist Now Offering Lyfe) is changing the standard and in the process affecting a generation. Born Rameses Echevarria, Cheno spent most of his life incarcerated. It was there, behind those metal bars that his musical passion, talent and most importantly God, became his way out. Now more than 4 years later, Cheno Lyfe is one of the industry’s most versatile artists, with his unique style of New York Swag and Down South Crunk. This is evident in his debut album “HOME” releasing June 2, 2009 as part of his partnership with The Dream Big/Hustle Hard Firm and The MIM Music Conference. “Cheno embodies everything MIM stands for and we are proud to be apart of his project” JBlaze, Co-Founder (MIM & DBHH). “HOME” will be mostly produced by the acclaimed production duo The Beat Mekanicz and will include additional production by G-Styles ( Lecrae, Trip Lee), Tony Stone (Cross Movement, Da Truth), Breakthru (Fabolous, Lil Flip), and Livo Music (Amaury Santiago, Blest). The album’s lead off single “Won’t Stop” features national recording artist Robert Dante and production by Breakthru & Lex (The Beat Mekanicz). The Pop/Urban record features an undeniable commercial hook sang by R.Dante, and a fresh southern swag delivered by Cheno Lyfe. The song’s crossover appeal is sure to captivate the industry’s top tastemakers as it encourages a generation. “I want to show people that success is not defined by results. True success is defined by your obedience in doing what God has told you. ” Cheno Lyfe. “HOME” is sure to become a classic with follow up singles “This Me” & the title track “HOME”.
Target release date for the project is this fall. followed by the Album tour entitled “The STAND OUT Tour”. Encouraging our generation to break the norms and STAND OUT for Christ!
