The Lions Rampant project aims to bring together young people and older generations, especially veterans, to capture unique oral histories concentrating on experiences of the Second World War and subsequent conflicts.
The project is looking for men and women who have a connection to Glasgow and the military services and who would like to share some of their stories and experiences of conflict. In 2009, then project team will be making several visits to the Museum for day-long filming sessions. These filming days involve a series of short interviews with children asking the questions. The material is then developed into DVD for the museum's archives and excerpts are added online.
