A cognitive-behavioral therapist (Washington Mental Health Counselor LH 60106663) who draws on clinical sexology and medical consultations, Dr. Libby is one of America’s most respected Sexologists who works with couples and with individuals and is effective at solving most sexual and relationship problems with short-term therapy.
Dr. Libby’s strong academic credentials and nearly fifty years of experience as a sexologist qualify him as a pioneer sex therapist, sex researcher and sex educator. He is an Adjunct Professor and a distinguished lecturer at the Institute for the Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. He has also held academic appointments at The University of Mass., Amherst, Syracuse University and The University of Georgia, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Human Sexuality and Marriage and the Family.
Dr. Libby is a Fellow of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality and a Charter Member of the International Academy of Sex Research, and he is board certified by The American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, The American Board of Sexology, The American College of Sexology, and The American Academy of Clinical Sexologists.

He has appeared on national television and radio shows, including Oprah Winfrey, The NBC Nightly News and CNN News Night. He hosted The Pleasure Dome radio show for three years in Atlanta, and he is starting a new national radio show, “Love and Lust with Dr. Roger Libby”.
