I am an active member of the Georgia Chapter of the US Green Building Council. I believe environmental issues top the list of problems we face today. If each person lives a more deliberate life and understands the impacts and consequences of the choices we make, then the more good choices will be made. We hear daily about global warming, carbon footprint, and sea level rise. These are critical issues that have resulted directly from human activity.
Our homes, and the time we spend working are our greatest investments, along with our children. These are the areas that we have the greatest opportunity to improve our situation and mitigate problems our children will face in the future.
It is up to each of us to encourage responsibility and good choices.
Start with your home, encourage an eco-friendly work place, and teach your children.
