Drive Out Suicide is a suicide prevention awareness campaign created by the Pennsylvania Adult/Older Adult Suicide Prevention Coalition. From September 2013 through May 2014, volunteer drivers representing different regions of the state drove around normally with a window cling on their cars' back windshields. The window clings contained a message of hope, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number (1-800-273-8255), and the web address for the campaign which links to additional resources and information ( By May 2014, almost 100 Pennsylvanians participated in the campaign as drivers including suicide survivors, mental health professionals, dedicated community members, and individuals dealing with their own mental health issues.
