Ashley Brett Chipman is infatuated with film as a haunted medium, a projection of things not actually present. She began exploring 16mm film at the University of Virginia and graduated in 2009. There she was awarded the Aunspaugh Fellowship for filmmaking and digital art. In 2010, she relocated to the haunted streets of New Orleans to pursue her film aspirations. Her work as been featured at Ruffin Gallery, 723 Louisa Street Digest, T-Lot, and the Contemporary Art Center.
