Elena Dolores Buenrostro was born and raised in San Diego, California. As a child, she grew up watching Alfred Hitchcock films and enjoyed the I Love Lucy sitcom to name a few. Since then, she has gained an interest in not only acting, videography and editing but for the arts as well. It wasn't until she took her first college film course when she realized her passion for the film and video production process. She delved into it right away, switching her major from Theatre to Visual Arts emphasizing in film/video and began her exciting journey toward a video/hosting career.
From pre-production to post-production, Elena enjoys every aspect involved in creating a story and video project especially when she is able to express her creative side. For over 5 years, Elena has developed a keen understanding of the video production life cycle from pre-production to post-production. She received her Media Arts B.A. from the Visual Arts program at the University of California, San Diego and emphasized in Film/Video and Theatre. Elena strives to not only present a polished artistic piece for herself and clients, but she also enjoys visually educating her audience with the subject matter that she presents. In addition to her artistic work , Elena is a team player and enjoys feedback and suggestions from her fellow colleagues when possible. She has experience teaching youth and children alike the video production process as well as Stop Motion Animation. She has worked with organizations such as San Diego Media Arts Center, Innovations Academy and San Diego Girl Scouts of America as a camp instructor teaching youth and children the video production process. Elena is also familiar and has experience with conducting one on one interviews for documentary video production purposes and is capable of forming a visual story through hands on research.
