Gerard & Kelly completed the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program in 2010, and received their MFAs in 2013 from the Interdisciplinary Studio at UCLA Department of Art. They have had solo exhibitions at The Kitchen, New York, NY (2014) and Kate Werble Gallery, New York, NY (2013). Their work was included in the Made in L.A. 2014 biennial at the Hammer Museum, as well as group exhibitions at LACE | Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, Los Angeles (2013) and CCS Bard Center for Curatorial Studies (2012). Recent performances have been presented by Danspace Project at St. Mark’s Church, New York (2011), and the Park Avenue Armory, New York (2010). Their work is represented in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum and Hammer Museum. They have received grants and fellowships from the Graham Foundation (2014), Art Matters (2014), and the Van Lier Fellowship (2010); Gerard was a recipient of a Fulbright grant to France (2004-2005). They are currently artists-in-residence at the New Museum, New York, NY. They live and work in New York, NY, and Los Angeles, CA.
