I am an advocate for people with exceptionalities and an educator working in Eugene Oregon. I believe all people have a fundamental human right to live fulfilled, independent, and meaningful lives based on their own perception of what that means. I believe video modeling can empower folks with exceptionalities, including autism to become more independent. I believe that social thinking and social rules can be modeled and promoted within schools in a variety of ways, including video modeling. I believe that celebrating and valuing unique learning styles, is a fundamental human pursuit.
