The Site (2007), Todd Looby's first narrative feature, premiered at Henry Jaglom’s Iowa Independent Film Festival and screened as part of IFP’s “Meet the Filmmaker” Series. LEFTY (2009), Todd’s second narrative feature, was named one of the “Top 10 Movies of 2009…” by the Chicago Tribune’s metromix and is currently being distributed by IndieFlix, Inc. Todd completed two projects from a recent trip to Liberia, West Africa. The first, “Children of Hope”, is a six-part web-series about Liberia Mission, Inc. and its most remarkable children. The second, “Son of None” (2010), is a narrative short starring one of the mission’s children. The film won the coveted Special Jury Award at Slamdance 2011 from over 2,600 entries and took home “Best Short Film” at the Boston Film Festival. Solo Madres: Stories of the Families Left Behind (2011) is a feature documentary Todd and his wife shot in Honduras. This project is in post-production. Currently, Todd is adapting the non-fiction book, A Saint on Death Row - written by New York Times Bestselling author, Thomas Cahill - into a narrative feature film. He is also developing an independent narrative feature with the working title, Be Good.
