The unique calling of YWAM Nashville is to be both flexible and strategic through mobilization, discipleship, and ministry. We prayerfully serve where God directs us to serve, while maintaining long-term relationships in key stateside and foreign locations.
The first building block into full-time missions with YWAM is the Discipleship Training School, which we offer twice a year. From there students can explore other avenues of training on our 120-acre University of the Nations campus to prepare them for effective service here or abroad.
Since 1992, YWAM Nashville ministry teams have filled hundreds of planes taking off for the remotest corners of the earth. We've planted training centers in Mexico, sent groups to Europe and Asia, and launched teachers and community development workers into nations where Christians are routinely persecuted for their faith. We mobilize hundreds of youth every spring and summer to get a taste of missions through our Mission Adventures program here in Adams, Tennessee, about forty-five minutes from downtown Nashville. Our diverse staff includes families, college graduates, retirees, and enthusiastic young people from one year out of high school into their twenties and thirties.
