Katerina was born in Nicosia in 1978. She studied in Rhode Island School Of Design from which she graduated in 2001 with BA of architecture and BA of Fine Arts. She lives and works in Nicosia where she founded the “Wavelength Studio”, a multidisciplinary label, the purpose of which is the study of light and space and their physical and metaphysical aspects. Under the "Wavelength studio" she has completed several architectural projects and taken part in solo indoor installations as well as group exhibitions with video installations, outdoor installations & performances . She has participated in international exhibitions such as Leaps of Faith in Nicosia Buffer zone (parallel events), 2006, curated by Katerina Gregos and Erden Kosova and the XIV Biennial of young artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, 2009 in Skopje. Recently she participated in the artists's exchange programme and collaboration between Iceland and Cyprus, "Cyprislandia", curated by Tony Maslic and supported by the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture with an exhibitions in Reykjavik and Nicosia and the Young Artist Development workshop Chronicle of a Summer, curated by Athens Biennale co-founder and co-director Xenia Kalpaktsoglou and organised by the European Mediterranean Art Association (EMAA) and the Cyprus Chamber of Fine arts (EKATE).
