Recently, Elliot has starred as Lorenzo Da Medici in David Goyer's epic TV series, Da Vinci's Demons; the last ever episode of Luther with Idris Elba; the opening episode of the new Mitchell and Webb drama, Ambassadors; and the lead in a British SCIFI feature, Narcopolis - with Jonathan Pryce, Harry Lloyd and Elodie Yung.
He shared his first film role with Sir Anthony Hopkins, in Oliver Stone's Alexander. Since, he’s appeared in Hammer of The Gods, with Charlie Bewley; Mike Leigh's Happy Go Lucky with Sally Hawkins, and Love and Other Disasters with Matthew Rhys.
On stage: the original stage-play of Peter Morgan's Frost/Nixon, opposite Frank Langhella and Michael Sheen; with Sir Derek Jacobi in Michael Grandage's production of Don Carlos; with Rachel Weisz and Ruth Wilson in the Donmar Warehouse's A Streetcar Named Desire, and title roles in MacBeth and Henry V (Best Actor, Evening Post Awards).
Between all this Elliot produces and directs: a Maltese Film Commission funded short, currently in post, called Flutter; an immersive sellout production of David Mamet's Edmond, at Wilton’s Music Hall, and has worked with director Justin Trefgarne on producing his SciFi Feature, Narcopolis, in which Elliot also plays the lead.
