In 2006, Ursula Dabrowsky shot a self financed horror film, FAMILY DEMONS, in two weeks with a budget of $6,500. FAMILY DEMONS had its World Premiere at the 2009 A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney where Ursula Dabrowsky won Best Australian Director. The film has screened at numerous national and international film festivals and won Best Foreign Film and Best Actress at the Fright Night International Film Festival. It was also nominated for Best Actress at the Eerie Horror Film Festival and was shortlisted for the 2009 DigiSPAA Competition. IFM Films is the international sales agent for the film and hold world rights and so far have sold it to Australia, South Africa, UK and USA. In 2015, Ursula will release her second horror film, INNER DEMON, a serial killer story with supernatural elements that received financing through the SAFC’s Filmlab program. INNER DEMON recently had its World Premiere at the 2014 A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Sydney where it won Best Australian Feature, Best Australian Director, and Best Female Performance (Sarah Jeavons). Ursula is currently writing the third instalment of her Demon Trilogy, THE DEVIL'S WORK, another survival horror film that is shaping up to be her most terrifying one yet.
