Being an animator means that I am a medium between reality and the world of make-believe. My work walks that line, falling anywhere between the two extremes and allowing me to have complete freedom. While I have a deep appreciation for classic cartoons, I am determined to offer something that is completely unique and has yet to be seen on any size screen.
To me, the progression of my life means never breaking character. Even when no one is around I find myself acting as if I have an audience. Try as I might, I cannot perfect the Twelve Principles with my own mortal body. For this reason, I needed an outlet, an extension of myself that could literally squash, exaggerate and morph to achieve maximum appeal. I found that in the principals of animation. Every artist needs his or her tools, and mine are my technical and artistic skills, ambition, education, friends and mentors.
