Hannah Guggenheim is a documentary filmmaker bringing years of experience in the film industry.
With an MFA from San Francisco State University’s film production program, her work ranges from independent to industrial, with an emphasis on shooting socially conscious films. She has worked on a diversity of projects, including content for HBO, PBS and ZDTV.
Guggenheim is a web 2.0 savvy filmmaker who understands social media strategies, whether through branding, navigating the blogosphere or directing viral video campaigns, her online projects have sustained hits in the millions.
Currently her work is based in Southeast Alaska. Recent projects include making films for The Sitka Tribe of Alaska about Tlingit language revitalization and shooting “Rain Power", a documentary filmed in the Tongass National Rainforest, made in collaboration with the Sitka Conservation Society. It debuted at Anchorage International Film Festival.
