I am an art director, designer and illustrator from Barcelona, Spain.
I received degrees in both Graphic and Product Design in the Escola Massana and quickly became recognized for a distinctive and wide-ranging work.
While I was a student I founded Copyright Magazine, an underground publication about graphic design that was very influential in Spain and utilized by both students and professionals to keep abreast of the latest design trends and innovations. Copyright Magazine was a platform for knowledge and exchange and a perfect excuse for our team to investigate and have creative freedom.
At the same time I started to develop my professional career working for different studios: packaging, exhibition design, graphic design and illustration. In 2006 I stablished my own studio with my partners in the magazine, Studio Copyright. It was at this point that we started to explore motion graphics, working for clients like MTV Italia, Paramount Comedy or Canal +.
On March 2007 I moved to New York and after a few months working as a freelance artist (Loyal Kasper, Brand New School, Buck NY) I joined HUSH, a multidisciplinary studio that works across different platforms, crafting stories for digital, broadcast, mobile and physical installations.
After four years as a Lead Designer / Art Director I was able to develop very successful projects for clients like Nike, Sony Ericsson, Nokia or Discovery Channel.
In the present I'm working as a freelance commercial artist for clients all over the world.
With great pleasure I been invited to exhibit my work at prestigious international exhibitions such as: Coidigra (Venezuela, 2011), Wasabi (Madrid, 2011), Elisava (Barcelona, 2011), Dejando Huella (Mexico, 2011), Sudala (Chile 2010), Psst (NY 2009), Duck Fever Show (Barcelona 2006), Slipmad Exhibition (Barcelona 2006), Decibelio Festival (Madrid 2005), Liguaduras Festival (Barcelona 2004), Energias Renovadas (Madrid 2004).
My work has also been showcased in publications from around the world such as: Los Logos, Advanced Photoshop Magazine, Graphics, Enter Spanish Creativity, Editorial Made in Spain, Experimenta and Visual Magazine.
