Gautam Chopra received his MFA from Columbia University’s Graduate Film Program in 2007. His work as a filmmaker includes having edited several documentaries, most recently "A Matter of Conscience: Confronting Clergy Abuse" which had its premier at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He also edited the narrative film "Lambing Season", selected by IndieWire as one of the 10 Best Films of 2014; and directed “Cauliflower & Potatoes”, a finalist for the AbelCine Documentary Award. He received the CARAFE Filmmaking Grant in May 2014. He currently teaches filmmaking and film studies at Emerson and Boston College.
