Daniel Charny is an independent curator with industrial design background. Co-founder director at From Now On, a creative projects consultancy and Senior Tutor at the Royal College of Art where he has taught since 1998. Between 2002 - 2010 he was the founding curator of The Aram Gallery for experimental and new design. In 2003 Charny led the Masterplan for Design Museum Holon. In recent years he has guest curated and advised internationally including to the Design Museum, British Council, DesignMiami, Korean Design Foundation, Spanish LABoral Art Centre and Swedish Form museets vänner. Most recently he guest curated Power of Making at the Victoria and Albert Museum, seen by over 320,000 visitors it is the V&A's most popular free exhibition ever staged. In 2011 Charny was appointed Content and Interpretation Consultant to the Design Museum to work with them on the collection policy and curate the permanent exhibition planned for the new building opening in 2014.
