Amira Alhassan graduated from The New School University with a Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Media Studies from Eugene Lang College. She has a passion for social activism and hopes to create and inspire social change and inclusivity through multimedia advocacy.
She currently works for a healthcare non-profit as a multimedia production specialist where she has been able to participate in a wide array of projects within patient safety to wellness and food nutrition. She is a facilitator and participant of the Google Food Innovation Lab - a global collaborative network for leading thinkers and doers in the food space. Amira has also produced content for for-profit companies including High Sierra Lifestyle and Carrol Boyes USA distribution.
