Jake Holm is a recent graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the arts, where he studied film directing and producing. Holm has produced an array of different productions since entering NYU, from comedic webseries to dramatic short films and entertaining specs. Holm has written and directed nearly 15 short films, ranging from 30-second animation pieces to 20-minute live-action films and music videos. Over the last three years, he has worked at a number of prestigious film studios and companies, including Lionsgate Films, The Mayor’s Office of Film and Television, and Focus Features Films. Holm’s most recent project is his WWII thesis film, Partisan, about a Jewish, female partisan fighter who leads a revenge mission against a Nazi collaborator, which will soon be released to festivals. He currently freelances as a film and promotional video director, producer and casting director around New York City.
