Bartek Dziadosz is a filmmaker and PhD candidate at London Consortium (Birkbeck). He graduated from Law and Film Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow and Contemporary Media Practice at the University of Westminster. Most recently he has collaborated as a DoP and editor on three films from the series 'The Seasons in Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger.' In 2013 he finished his own documentary ‘The Trouble with Being Human These Days’, a film essay about the life and work of Zygmunt Bauman. He has also edited two documentaries directed by Agnieszka Piotrowska: 'The (un)Finished Portrait of Lech Walesa' and 'The Engagement Party in Harare.' Bartek is currently the managing producer at the Derek Jarman Lab, the media hub at Birkbeck. His PhD thesis proposes a theory of editing looking at it as a complex notion involving narrative procedures and cognitive problems.
