I am based in Dublin and compose mainly for film, TV & media. Over the last few years I have scored many award-winning films such as Nuala, Here to Fall, Voices from the Grave, Deep End Dance, and Downpour, and almost all of my work has been showcased both nationally and internationally

I work in many styles including orchestral, electronic, rock, folk, and experimental, and have recorded with many ensembles such as the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dublin Guitar Quartet, and New Dublin Voices.

Production companies I have worked with include: RTÉ, Accidental Pictures, Wildfire Films, Animo TV, Fastnet Films, Zucca Films, vStream Digital Media, and Black North Animation/Visual FX Studio. I have also collaborated on multiple projects with various independent artists and dance companies such as CoisCéim Dance Theatre and Legitimate Bodies.

My film-music influences range from the work of Angelo Badalementi, Thomas Newman, and Danny Elfman to Jon Brion, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, Cliff Martinez, and Jonny Greenwood. Other musical influences are too numerous to list here but range from The Low Anthem, Bonnie Prince Billy, and Sufjan Stevens, to Igor Stravinsky, Arvo Pärt, Kronos Quartet, Sonic Youth, The Books, Speedy J, Radiohead, and Stars of the Lid.

For a number of years I played guitar, banjo, and bouzouki with Dublin-based rock band, The Jimmy Cake, my favourite karaoke performance song is Mr. Brownstone by Guns ‘N Roses and my favourite pop album is a toss-up between Justified, by Justin Timberlake and Off The Wall by Michael Jackson.
