Max Strebel was born and raised in San Francisco, California and has been making films for the past 10 years. He has made over a dozen short films that have won awards at film festivals nationwide including the San Francisco International Film Festival, The Nashville Film Festival, The Berkeley Video and Film Festival and screened at festivals including the Mill Valley Film Festival, The Santa Barbara Film Festival and The Santa Fe Film Festival, among many others. Max has shown his films at the San Francisco’s De Young Museum and AT&T Ballpark as well as New York City’s Skirball Center. Max worked in development for Little Miss Sunshine’s Big Beach Films where he partook in the making of Away We Go, Sunshine Cleaning, Our Idiot Brother and Safety Not Guaranteed. He has made promotional videos for ModCloth, Papabubble and The Nueva School. Max is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he majored in Film and Television.
