Stephanie Weber Biron is an award-winning cinematographer and director. She is best known for Xavier Dolan’s feature films "I Killed My Mother" and "Heartbeats". Her diverse body of directing and cinematography credits on fiction films, documentaries and music videos include the Warner Bros short film Higglety Pigglety Pop! starring the voices of Meryl Streep and Forest Whitaker. This short was produced by Spike Jonze and directed by academy award nominees Maciek Szczerbowski & Chris Lavis.
Stephanie Weber Biron has been passionate about photography since a very early age. Her love for visual art has made her a multidisciplinary visual artist adding collage and fashion photography to the list of projects she undertakes.
In 2006, Stephanie founded her independent production company daDA with which she has taken on the roles of producer, director and cinematographer for a dozen of short films and music videos (for artists such as Jason Bajada, Les Breastfeeders & many more). Her experimental short film Gabrielle just finished touring film festivals around the world.
