In 2006, a group of independent artists completed their studies at ArtEZ, Institute of the Arts in the Netherlands. Sharing a mutual passion for Music, Film, Fashion and Design, they joined forces in creating the enchanting, audiovisual world of Lolly Jane Blue.
The first outing to the public was the 2007 Music Film Worms, which enjoyed international acclaim and won a hand full of prizes. A live tour with the support of Mojo Concerts followed in 2008, kicking off at Noorderslag, Groningen.
The second Music Film White Swan was completed in the Summer of 2009. Once again, the film claimed praise and multiple awards internationally; the most recent of which was awarded by Music Video Legend Anton Corbijn and Actor / Director Rutger Hauer.
In 2010, the Lolly Jane Blue project expanded with artists internationally.
By fall 2011, Lolly Jane Blue is expected to release her full length debut album. The record will be accompanied by a Dutch theatre tour in which Lolly will invite audiences on her journey through magical songs and mesmerizing films.
