Charles Konowal is first known as an award winning cinematographer with years of experience in both drama and documentary production. Over the years he has also directed and produced numerous films. His first producer credit was with the NFB on the award winning production The Defender. He also produced and photographed the NFB’s Prairie Studio’s first feature documentary Fat Chance, which went on to win a Peabody award. He has worked with the IMAX Corporation producing the first IMAX Magic Carpet production, Flowers in the Sky for an international expo in Osaka, Japan and Mark Twain’s America a 3D IMAX production for The Stephan Low Company.
