The Hidden Cameras are a Canadian indie pop band fronted by singer-songwriter Joel Gibb. Their self-described "gay church folk music" has brought them an intensely loyal following over the course of their 5 albums with some weird and wild live shows along the way. A constantly evolving group of like-minded musicians headed by songwriter and artist, Gibb, The Hidden Cameras are veterans of the same rich Canadian music scene that inspired Arcade Fire, Final Fantasy and Broken Social Scene. Their live performances have been elaborate, high-energy shows, featuring go-go dancers in balaclavas, a zombie choir and blindfolded audiences.
The Hidden Cameras celebrate 10 years of making music in 2011, current album 'Origin:Orphan' is out now through Arts & Crafts.
