Revive is a new church in Burlington, MA and we may not be what you expect. We aren’t perfect, we haven’t arrived, and we don’t have it all together and we certainly don’t have it all figured out. But we are determined to figure out the best way to love God, love people, and bless our community. And most importantly, we’re determined to be a church through which people experience the radical love and grace of Jesus Christ.
No matter where you’re at, we look forward to getting to know you. We have a special place in our hearts for people who are interested in checking out Jesus, don’t know much about the Bible, and perhaps don’t even like “church” as they know it. We’re not afraid of big questions. We have some ourselves.
We believe that the greatest desire in the human heart is to be fully known and fully loved anyway so we place a high value on keeping it real and sharing in authentic relationships. We know that life is messy, that nobody has it all together and everybody has some hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Many of us at Revive have found healing for our issues through a relationship with Jesus the Messiah and offer programs to help those who are struggling with these kinds of issues. We are a judgement free zone.
We are into music in a big way so expect the worship to be fresh, dynamic and heartfelt. It might get loud.
While we admit we are not a perfect church, there are some things we’re very passionate about and are determined to get right…
• We will passionately teach the truth of the Bible in a way that is accessible, understandable and applicable, even for people who have never encountered the Bible. You may actually enjoy it!
• We love kids, the noise, the mess, the whole deal, and we will take extremely good care of them. Your kids will have a blast while they experience worship and the truth of the Bible at their own level in at atmosphere that is safe, fun, and positive.
• We have a casual atmosphere where people can be themselves and connect with others with no pressure to “look the part.” Jeans are welcome encouraged.
We do hope you’ll give us the privilege of meeting you at a Sunday service soon! Come at 10:00 and have breakfast on us.
