Miriam Aziz is a mixed media artist. She began her artistic career as a musician and then later combined dance and film.
Her audio / visual work includes dance, portrait work, commercial as well as commissioned work. She is the Founder and the Artistic Director of Artist (s) at Large® which she established in New York between 2009 /12 at the Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) whilst based at New York University Law School, Columbia Law School and Cardozo Law School as a visiting scholar. She is also a senior research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (MPIL/HD) where she has created a series of short films about the Institute as well acted as a contributing photographer for its website.
She is the founder of MAstudioLAB, a mixed media platform for science dissemination, movement / creativity workshops and art consultancy.
