Filmmaker, video artist and oxymoron: a rural filmmaker with roots in international work. Currently making movies from the Olympic Peninsula, Jessica draws inspiration from the alpine wilderness in her backyard, after years of creating innovative programs in locations from Boston to Beijing.
Jessica holds a B.A. from Yale University and an interdisciplinary MFA from Goddard College. She is an award winning filmmaker, published writer and photographer, and a dynamic teacher. Her video installations have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Northwest. Jessica's belief in the power of story underlies all of her creative and professional work. Currently Jessica is focused on stories of environmental sustainability and on women's journeys, as well as collaborations with artists in other disciplines.
