I was born in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Force Base in March of 1984. I was born into a rather large military family. At a young age I moved quite a bit from military base to military base with my parents before finally calling Atlanta, Georgia my home. Multi-racial, my mother being of French,Moroccan descent and my father being of African American and Native American Decent, I found it hard to identify ethnically with my peers. In other words I lacked my own self identity, whether it was a heritage or ethnicity to call my own. Other individuals of the same age clearly understood what they were and where they came from. This was undoubtedly the sculpting mechanism that has made me who I am today. I have found that cinematography is my calling in life. Whether I become a historical legend or just a simple journeyman as it relates to the art of film is still yet to be determined but, is in fact a passion that continues to motivate and drive me to perfect my skills and push the boundaries of cinematography.
