Gerald Seroy is a producer, writer, director, and a photographer of still, video and film. He has worked as executive producer, director and writer for network television pilots, commercials, documentaries, and feature films for such clients as HBO, E!, Comcast, Viacom, Sony International and Discovery Communications.
Mr. Seroy's interest in entertainment started as a young child. His grandfather was chief engineer for a film and television studio in New York. He had an early education to the operation of video, film and sound equipment from some of the best union crews of their day.
He would later follow his passion to NYU were he studied film and photography. While at NYU he started working as an assistant photographer and was asked by Bruce Weber to assist him on his Ralph Lauren print campaign that was shot in Big Sur and Monterey California. After working as a freelance assistant for some of the biggest names in advertising and fashion, he went on to work as a director and photographer for his own clients.
In addition to television/film/Internet content creation, Mr. Seroy has worked as a director/producer/photographer for such clients as J. Walter Thompson, Paul Mitchell, Haute Living magazine, Hearst Publishing, Perry Ellis, Alexander Julian, Jive Records and John Brevard among others.
He also worked with legendary television syndicator Roger King (King World) and his team at CBS/Paramount on the development of “The Promoter” a television pilot. In a separate project for Dennis Publishing and Maxim magazine, Mr. Seroy developed a television show that bundled content with advertisers, E! television network, Maxim magazine and Internet content distributors.
Mr. Seroy has been represented by Creative Artist’s Agency (CAA,) and the William Morris Endeavor (WME) agencies in the past.
Gerald Seroy is based in New York and Miami.
