Robert Altman once said, “Filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes”. As a writer when I write stories I create characters and I live their lives. There is a part of me in every character or sometimes I create a character which I would like to be. I live my life through these characters.
Well talking about myself: I started working in theater with Saurabh Shukla in group, “Spandhan Parivar”. I acted in the play, “Kaal” and directed my first play which was performed at Bhavan’s, Mumbai, India. After assisting filmmakers like Milind Ukey in “Devki”, Pathik Vats (dialogue writer Sarfarosh) and Rajkumar Hirani in "Munnabhai Mbbs", I decided to learn more about filmmaking. I was hungry for the knowledge. I decided to go back to school….
I believe that “Everything starts with a dream, a goal which teases us to be there, to reach and imagine what our future would be like as long as we fight for it and be persistent”.
