London based filmmaker, animator and educator Veselina Dashinova was born in Bulgaria 1984. Studying at the High School for Fine Art, Ilya Petrov Sofia she then went on to complete a 1st class BA degree in Animation at the UCA Farnham, and an Animation MA at the Royal College of Art, London. Veselina’s work continues to receive appreciation internationally and has been screened at numerous film festivals: IWF Festival Seoul, Melbourne International Animation Festival, Intrefilm Berlin. Her film What they could take with them, they took (2009) won the best student film award at the KinoFilm Manchester (2010). In 2011 Veselina co-founded See Saw Collective, now part of Film Fabrik that has produced and delivered a wide range on unconventional projects for the BFI, UCL, UAL, New Horizons and Open Cinema. Veselina is a regular guest lecturer at the UCA Farnham and UEL. She has also collaborated on many animation projects for film and television
