Vicente's films have received 22 nominations for the Brazilian Academy Awards. His films have been in the most important festivals in the world, including Toronto, Rotterdam, Karlovy Vary, Montreal, Rio, San Sebastian and many others, winning several awards.
His films include Good, with Viggo Mortensen; Sister Dulce, with Bianca Comparato; The Middle of the World, with Wagner Moura and Rio, I Love You, directed alongside Paolo Sorrentino, Fernando Meirelles, John Torturro and 7 other of the world's top directors.
Good was on Rex Reed's (The New York Observer) and The Hollywood Reporter's "best films of 2008" lists.
He has directed hundreds of commercials and five TV series, including TV Globo's A Justiceira and As Canalhas (a.k.a. Bitches, recently licensed to HULU in the US) and Espinosa for GNT.
