I began my carreer at Capa press agency in Paris, as a director assistant and camera assistant, before becoming a cameraman and a lighting cameraman. Based in Rio since 2003, I've been mainly involved in covering news for agencies and international channels such as AFP and CNN amongst others.
My work as a video journalist has been broadcast in France Televisions, TF1, Canal +, Arte, Le Monde, France 24, BFM, LCP, TV5, ARD, CNN, BBC1, BBC2, BBC News, BBC World, BBC America, Al Jazeera International, CCTV News, SVT1 Sweden, SVT2, SVT24 Sweden, TV4 News Sweden, NRK1 Norway, TV2 News Norway, Russia Today, Foro TV, Televisa Canal 2, ABC Australia, ABC 24, Telesur, Univision, Telemundo, NTN24, IPS, Fashion TV…
I’ve been working as a cinematographer for TV shows in Brazil (Socorro meu filho come mal, Mulheres de aço, GNT channel…), in France (L’effet papillon, Canal +, Reportages, TF1…) and as a documentary filmmaker (AFP, Paris Match, Canal Futura, SportTV).
In 2012, I worked in “Frank Sinatra, the Pope, and I – the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro”, a film produced by the german production company Bildersturm Filmproduktion for Arte. I also began last year the shooting of "Open", a Ole Bendtzen's documentary project produced by the danish production company Fridthjof Film (whose documentary "Armadillo" was awarded the Grand Prix de la Semaine de la Critique at 2010's Cannes film festival).
In 2010, I shot, with my friend Yans Felipe, a story for the One Day On Earth project, the first film made in every country of the world on the same day, and our character Dona Elena has been choosen as one of the main in the movie. One Day On Earth film has been screened in the United Nations General Assembly Hall, New York.
These last years I did a few mini documentaries about mixed martial artists for Combate channel (Globosat).
