Igor Sambolec (1979), based in Croatia, work as freelance DOP / director / editor. After graduated graphic design, worked several years, since 2003, in media buisness as agency photojournalist and cameraman (Jutarnji list, Cropix, AFP), but at the same time felt his dedication for the movies. Soon his work become more engaged in video production, filming, directing and editing short films, music videos and some commercials, corporative video. Last few years he directed several music videos and developed some independent short film projects. He filmed and directed San Snova (2010), San Snova 2 (2011), Green Tea (2011), Two shovels and Fatboy (2012) and Golden Age (2012).

In field of photography work in 2009. he won 1st prize for ''Best documentary and newspaper feature'' in international competition ''Photodays'' at Rovinj, Croatia. In short film festival ''Moj film'' Umag his psycho thriller San Snova 2 (2011) won 1st prize in category horror. Year after in same festival short film ''Two shovels and Fatboy'' become the best short comedy, and art film ''Grean tea'' won 1st. prize in People's Choice Award (2012). He is also a founder at independent video production GERILAFilm which produce a variety of video & photo projects. Meanwhile he continues to write and direct filmprojects and music videos.
