This is our first attempt at time lapse video.
Our mission was to document the assembly process of a BMW Z4 GT3 that arrived from the manufacturer to the workshop in pieces.
A camera connected to a Mac Mini was mounted in the roof of the workshop to document every step of the process. More than 10 000 photos were shot during a period of 11 weeks. The photos were automatically synchronized to our servers with Dropbox.
When making the time lapse video we hand picked 1200 photos which were adjusted in Lightroom before we imported them to Final Cut Pro. Color grading and effects were added with Magic Bullet Looks.
