Greetings and welcome to this television channel -- "True American History" -- which presents, exclusively, the televsion programs produced and hosted by Howard Ray White, of North Carolina, an historian and writer of several books.

The overall title of White's television shows is "True American History, 1763 to 1885," for that spans his interest in American history. Each episode has a name of its own. 1763 begins the discontent that led to the Revolution. 1885 signals the Democratic Party's return to power following the Republican's political Reconstruction. These television shows, up to 150 in number, are the content of this television channel.

Every television show on this channel is of 29 minutes duration. Each tells an historical story, often with an expert guest, but not always. White either hosts an interview with an expert in the area of history being discussed, or he presents a lecture based on his own research.

Most of White's lectures come from his book series of 4 volumes, titled, "Bloodstains, An Epic History of the Politics that Produced the American Civil War." You can view White's books at Amazon.com. Inquire at Amazon, for "Howard Ray White" and apply the quote marks.

White is of the Southern States culture (Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina) and is a life member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. And he is a retired chemical engineer (Vanderbilt University 1960). So he comes from the industrial/business community, not the academic community, which means that his television shows give you a fresh and objective perspective on America's history, even when he is not "politically correct."

You may contact White, near Charlotte, North Carolina, at 704-242-0022. White maintains exclusive control over the content within this television channel.
