Gran Canaria is the third-largest and second-most-populous island of the Canary Islands in Spain.
I remember that some of my aunts would go there for their vacation when I was a kind, so I always figured that it msut be a pretty severe tourist trap.
However, since so many people told me over the years that the island itself is quite beautiful and it would be worth to give it a shot I decided to to so. And indeed the island is actually really awesome and probably my favorite canary island now. It's even not that touristy if you stay away from the Maspalosas area :)Enjoy the ride around this amazing island in less than 5 minutes.

Melbourne is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second-most populous city in both Australia and Oceania.
I was in Australia to shoot an ARTE documentary in the Outback and decided to stay one week longer and team up with Visit Victoria to shoot my first Little Big World episode in Australia.
Melbourne consistently ranked as the world's most liveable city for much of the 2010s and I can toally see why! It's a big vibrant city with impressive architecture, amazing cultural offers, from museums to street art, live music and theatre. Also there are some pretty great food places in the city. Many beautiful parks in the area invote to relax and the the Yarra River for water activitie. Oh, and the Ocean is just a quick tram ride away.
But don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself in less than 4 minutes. Thanks to Barbara Samoilenko and Cassandra Chapple from Visit Victoria and Viola Munzar from Tourism Australia for making this episode happen.
For all drone shots in this film there were permissions from multiple parties necessary.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is an Alpine ski town in Bavaria, southern Germany. Nearby is Germany's highest mountain, Zugspitze, at 2,962 metres (9,718 ft) above sea level.
Garmisch (in the west) and Partenkirchen (in the east) were separate towns for many centuries, and still maintain quite separate identities with a rivalery going on between them that is mostly on ironic terms, but not always though...After a great collaboration with GaPa Tourismus last summer ( youtu.be/Dt46yJNBiEQ ) we decided to team up again and shoot a winter episode.
There is an incredible amount of things you can do within a very small radius from the city. You can literally leave the city in any direction and find something amazing to see and to do.
You even take a train from the city center which brings you directly to the Zugspitze, the highest mountain peak in Germany were you can spend the night in an Iglu. But don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself and enjoy this trip through stunning landscapes, breathtaking mountains, traditional carnival and picturesque postcard settings.
Thanks to Elisabeth Brück and Kathrin Richter from GaPa Tourismus for making this episode happen.

Munich is the third-largest city in Germany, after Berlin and Hamburg.
Over the last few years I have visited Munich many times for private and business reasons. Every time I was there and could spare a little bit of time, I would try to collect some shots.
Finally I have enough material together for a Little Big World episode.Check out some of the most popular spots in Munich and of course the Oktoberfest in adorable miniature size in only 3 minutes.
Living in Berlin myself, I do not really hold this Anti-Munich attitude, that many people have around here. However, I also do think that Munich is far from being as great of a city as most Munich residents will claim, but at the same time it's not as terrible as many Berliners say :) Like always the truth is somewer in the middle :)
