Two righteous brothers, the acclaimed Twin Poets, reject the lure of fame and fortune to save the lives of children in their impoverished and violent home community. Weaving their awe-inspiring poetry and tireless social work into a safety net for at-risk youth and families in difficulty, the Twin Poets embody the ideals of community service, struggling against incredible odds to build a better future with the families in the Riverside projects. Here, they perform one of their most popular spoken word pieces - "Why I Write" over a backdrop of their work, hardship & triumph in the community they love and serve.
