A historic first had the Vancouver Baha’i Centre abuzz on the weekend of November 13-14. For the first time in North America, an electoral meeting was held to elect a Regional Council. Over 270 Assembly members from around the province of British Columbia came by plane, car and ferry to participate and vote. They brought their harp, guitars and voices and they played, sang and chanted heavenly melodies. They met old friends, made new ones and chatted with each other about the Plan. And, they were humbled by the rarified atmosphere of voting as they walked up to the stage and cast their ballots.
