Closing keynote talk at AGI geocommunity 2013, the main traditional GIS conference in the UK. This was run back to back with FOSS4G 2013 in Nottingham, and my talk was intended to be an introduction to open source and open data, to lead into FOSS4G.

This is the keynote talk I gave at GeoAlberta on May 8, 2012. It includes quite a lot of new material, in particular on the growth of mutimedia data in geospatial applications, looking 5 to 10 years out. I re-recorded the slides afterwards so if you notice slight sync issues, that's why!
